The Chinese government has filed a complaint against the Philippines for allegedly trespassing in a disputed shoal.

The embassy of China in Manila has expressed strong concerns to the Philippines regarding the entry of Philippine ships into the contested Second Thomas shoal in the South China Sea.

The embassy reiterated China’s demand for the Philippines to cease actions that create trouble and provoke conflict at sea, as well as halt baseless attacks and false accusations against China.
