Hall The final round of the Smart Giga Arena Gamerfest will take place at the SM Mega Trade Hall.


Over the weekend, SMART Communications hosted the grand finals of the Smart Giga Arena Gamerfest at Mega Trade Hall 2 in SM Megamall, with hundreds of participants from Mandaluyong City.

The Giga Arena, a leading online gaming and e-Sports competition platform, is only accessible to Smart wireless subscribers. It was introduced last year and has gained popularity among gamers nationwide.

“We have just begun and have already reached two million views at the Smart Giga Arena,” stated Melvin Sixto Nubla, Smart’s first vice president and head of consumer marketing and subscription base management.

The Sunday celebrations were attended by Alejandro Caeg, Senior Vice President of Consumer Business at Smart, and AC Valdenor, CEO of Dark League Studios.

In addition to the Ultimate Battleground Championships at the Smart Giga Arena Gamerfest, Smart also gave away various prizes such as vouchers, headphones, and gamer kits through a raffle.

Additionally, there was a Cosplay contest and an opportunity to meet the members of the Smart Giga Arena team.

Fortunate supporters were also given the opportunity to engage in a face-off with Smart Omega.

At the event, Al Chua, the team governor of Ginebra San Miguel and manager of the Gilas Pilipinas team that won gold at the Hangzhou Asian Games, was also present.
