According to Counterpoint Research, the demand for two of Apple’s newest iPhones is higher than ever before. The standard iPhone 15 and the high-end iPhone 15 Pro Max currently have the longest wait times for pre-orders. This has also been confirmed by the writer, who was given an estimated delivery date of October for her own iPhone 15 Pro.
According to Counterpoint, the extended delivery times for the iPhone 15 Pro Max during the pre-order period are most likely due to high demand and limited initial supply. The standard iPhone 15 is also experiencing significant wait times in major markets.
The data indicates that the waiting time for pre-orders of the latest iPhones is much longer than for the iPhone 14 models. In the United States, buyers of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro Max are experiencing delays of four to nine days, respectively, compared to last year. Customers who pre-ordered the iPhone 15 Plus and Pro will receive their devices up to two weeks earlier than those who ordered the base and top-end models.
