  • Samsung had initially intended to release the One UI 6 beta for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 in September.

  • The company has postponed the release until October.

  • Samsung has stated that it requires additional time to stabilize the software.

The rollout of the beta version of One UI 6 has been quite unpredictable. After a few initial delays, the update was finally released for the Galaxy S23. Many expected the next in line to be Samsung’s latest foldable devices. However, it seems that two budget phones and the Galaxy S22 have received the update before them. So, when can we expect the update for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5? It appears that owners will have to wait a bit longer as Samsung has postponed the rollout.

According to a post in Samsung’s official forums, brought to attention by NingSP on X (previously known as Twitter), the company has postponed the availability of One UI 6 beta for the Fold 5 and Flip 5. The moderator states that the software needs further improvements before it can be rolled out.
