Investigated: Can iOS 17.0.3 prevent the iPhone 15 Pro from overheating?

Upon initial release, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max had a tendency to overheat. However, after a period of silence, Apple has released the iOS 17.0.3 update this week, which aims to fix the issue of the iPhone running at higher temperatures than usual. This update seems hopeful.
Instead of blindly trusting Apple’s claims, I decided to install the update and run the same tests on my iPhone 15 Pro again. Here are my findings.
