Attention: The Fitbit features will not be accessible on the Pixel Watch 2 using your Fitbit login.

-
Last year, Google declared that Fitbit will implement Google accounts for login purposes upon the launch of Google accounts on Fitbit in 2023.
-
Support for Fitbit accounts will be discontinued in 2025 and a Google account will be necessary moving forward.
-
The process of transferring accounts has started, as the Pixel Watch 2 and Fitbit Charge 6 will now require users to have a Google account in order to log into Fitbit.
If you have not already transferred your Fitbit account to a Google account, it would be wise to begin the process soon. The new Fitbit integrated products from Google, the Pixel Watch 2 and Fitbit Charge 6, will not be compatible with a Fitbit account.
During its Pixel hardware event, Google revealed multiple products, including the Pixel Watch 2. Prior to that, the company also announced the highly anticipated Fitbit Charge 6. It has been confirmed that users will need to log in with a Google account to access Fitbit on both devices, making them the first Google products to require this.
