“He Has a Fight!”: Dana White and Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Teammate Get Into a Verbal Tussle After the UFC CEO Pulled the Curtain on the Former’s Claims

This was likely one of the most unforgettable evenings in the history of the Contender Series. It was so noteworthy that even UFC CEO Dana White remarked, “It was that close!” After an enticing lineup of fights during Tuesday’s Dana White’s Contender Series, the head of the UFC held an entertaining press conference.

The CEO of UFC took his time to respond to inquiries about the recent advancements within his company. He also provided insight into the upcoming UFC 294 PPV and explained his reasoning for the Tony Ferguson vs. Paddy Pimblett fight. However, there was one question that the 54-year-old CEO struggled to answer.

Dana White was unable to answer a question regarding the lack of activity from Khabib Nurmagomedov’s teammate in the UFC.

Following an extended question and answer session, a member of the media mentioned the ongoing storyline within the UFC’s welterweight division. Starting with an update on Rafael Fiziev’s injury and its implications for the division, the focus shifted to Belal Muhammad, a teammate of UFC icon Khabib Nurmagomedov, and his potential future bout.

A reporter asked Dana White an important question: “You mentioned the welterweight division. Belal Muhammad is currently the only fighter without a scheduled fight. Is there a potential fight in the works for him?”

Surprisingly, the top fighter in UFC seemed caught off guard by the sudden question. He responded with a hint of surprise, saying, “Oh, he’s got a fight! But I’m not going to reveal it to you just yet. [laughs] Belal does have a fight lined up and we will make an official announcement in the near future.”

Fans are responding to Khamzat Chimaev’s criticism of Dana White for not being active in the UFC, saying that he is punishing him for his fight with Nate.

However, Belal Muhammad has been quite open about his lack of activity in the world of fighting. Why? Because since 2022, he has only participated in three matches. He has consistently expressed his dissatisfaction with the situation – and now, he has escalated things with a bold remark.

Belal Muhammad takes a shot at White and his statements.

A few hours ago, ‘Remember the Name’ posted on his X account after the Contender Series event had ended. He was highly impressed with the intense fighting between the contenders during the event, which inspired him to share two tweets on X.

The initial post expressed his enthusiasm for the impressive battles. Yet, the subsequent tweet was more thought-provoking. It appears that White’s remarks about their matchup sparked something within the welterweight sensation.

In a lighthearted and possibly humorous way, Muhammad stated, “I accepted Strickland’s offer,” mentioning Sean Strickland, the reigning UFC Middleweight champion.

The anticipation for Muhammad’s upcoming fight intensifies as fans anxiously anticipate the UFC’s official announcement. Will this unexpected matchup become a reality, or is it just a typical example of the unpredictable nature of the fight world? Share your opinions in the comment section!
