Although there is uncertainty surrounding the “Paring,” Xander Schauffele offers a glimpse into who his fellow “Brother in Arms” will be at the 2023 Ryder Cup.

The competition will be held at the stunning Marco Simone golf club in Rome, where the American and European teams will compete for their countries’ pride. As the event draws near, there is much anticipation surrounding the potential pairings for the Ryder Cup.

The dominant pair on the American team has competed in five matches and emerged victorious in all of them. This duo consists of Xander Schauffele and his close comrade, with whom he formed a bond during a coincidental meeting on a lengthy flight where they played cards together.

Xander Schauffele was recently interviewed on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio, where he was posed with a variety of intriguing inquiries. Yet, one particular question caught his attention – his ideal pairing.

The show’s host cleverly asked, “If you had to choose one person in the world for a two-man fourball money game, who would you pick and why would it be Patrick Cantlay?” This caused the room to burst into laughter.

Schauffele concurred that he would choose World No. 5, Patrick Cantlay, as his top partner. He praised Cantlay as being truly exceptional and noted their incredible chemistry together. He also mentioned that he has the strongest bond with Cantlay among all amateur and professional golfers.
