The Philippines declares that the ship involved in the collision with a fishing boat is registered in the Marshall Islands.


The Philippine coastguard reported on Wednesday that the ship involved in the collision with a Philippine fishing boat in the South China Sea was an oil tanker flying the flag of the Marshall Islands.

The report stated that three fishermen lost their lives in a collision on Monday that was deemed accidental. The organization also mentioned plans to contact the involved vessel.
