The concert film for the Eras Tour has received high pre-sales in the Philippines.

The much-awaited documentary about Taylor Swift’s recent concert tour is predicted to be a success at the Philippine box office.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, which opens in cinemas nationwide today, Oct. 13, has seen “strong pre-sales,” according to SM Cinemas, though they cannot release any specific numbers yet.

On Wednesday, the well-known figure in pop culture known for breaking records revealed that there will be special one-day screenings in the US and Canada due to an “unprecedented demand.”

“Look what you genuinely made me do,” Ms. Swift posted on the social media platform X.

“Ms. Swift announced that due to high demand, there will be early access screenings of The Eras Tour Concert Film in America and Canada on Thursday. Additional showtimes on Friday and throughout the weekend have also been added.”

The movie was initially planned to debut in North America only, but it was later revealed that it will be shown globally beginning on Oct. 13.

Last week, AMC Entertainment announced that the concert film had exceeded $100 million in global advance ticket sales.
