A unit of DoubleDragon has established a sales hub in Singapore.

The hotel division of DoubleDragon Corp. has launched its corporate office and sales center in Singapore, expanding the Sia-led company’s international presence.

DoubleDragon reported in a legal document that Hotel101 Global Pte. Ltd. commenced its business on Tuesday at the PLUS Building on Cecil Street.

Hannah Yulo-Luccini, CEO of Hotel101 Global, stated that the corporate office serves as the central hub for our team members located in different countries. Our goal is to create a diverse team of skilled individuals who will effectively lead the expansion of our unique and asset-light business model across multiple countries at the same time.

DoubleDragon announced that the sales hub for Hotel101 now includes an updated version of their 21-square-meter HappyRoom. This room contains a queen bed and a single bed, both equipped with Emma Sleep mattresses. In addition, the room features smart lighting controlled by an IoT app, using a single type of bulb. Guests can also enjoy a 55-inch smart television and a work desk in the room.

Some other amenities offered at the HappyRoom are universal power outlets, charging ports for electronic devices, a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator and microwave, and a contemporary prefabricated bathroom.

DoubleDragon stated that Hotel101 is anticipated to gain recognition as a highly advanced hotel franchise throughout its entire value chain. They also noted that the upcoming Hotel101 app update will incorporate an automated self-check-in feature with IoT functionality.

Hotel101 chose the banig, a traditional handwoven mat from the Philippines, as its unique aesthetic.

“Hotel101 strives to create a sense of home for our guests, symbolized by the banig. The vibrant colors of the Hotel101 banig were thoughtfully selected to bring joy and infuse a Filipino essence into all of our projects, spanning various countries around the world,” stated DoubleDragon.

The initial three international projects for Hotel101 are located in Hokkaido, Japan, Madrid, Spain, and California, USA.

Hotel101 has a goal to establish a presence in the Philippines, Japan, Spain, United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Mexico, South Korea, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Turkey, Italy, Germany, France, and China by 2026.

Chairman Edgar J. Sia II of DoubleDragon expressed confidence that Hotel101 will lead the way in utilizing modern technology within the hospitality industry worldwide. He specifically mentioned the hotel’s innovative HappyRooms and their asset-light approach as groundbreaking in the field.

“In the end, regardless of the country you are in, your first stay at any Hotel101 will give you a clear understanding of what to anticipate,” Mr. Sia stated.
